Sea World – Sea World used to be the jewel in San Diego’s crown but has become a little jaded of late with growing support for Eco-tourism and the end to Captive Orcas. It still has a lot to offer though and through concerted efforts and a change to becoming a more standard theme park it is turning things around
San Diego Zoo – One of the World’s Finest Zoo’s and responsible for some phenomenal Conservation Efforts. The Zoo is set in a wonderful location that allows seamless natural enclosures that help boost the animal’s welfare. It is an absolute must-not-miss when in San Diego.
San Diego Safari Park – The San Diego Zoo’s Sister Park. This larger more open Park house’s some incredible exhibits in large open natural environments. If the Zoo does not satisfy your hunger for nature the Safari Park is sure to do it!
Balboa Park – San Diego’s Answer to Central Park. This Jewel at the heart of San Diego is free to all and a wonderful place to pass the time. Home to the San Diego Zoo and a host of top Museums –
Air And Space Museum – Some great exhibits detailing the history of flight and Space travel.
San Diego Natural History Museum – Another great museum nestled in Balboa Park. The focus here is on the natural world with displays and dioramas of local wildlife from the present and the past…Yes, that means Dinosaurs!
Legoland California – Lego is HUGE business at present and Legoland is right at the top of most kid’s wish lists. While this is primarily aimed at a younger audience there is plenty to entertain kids of all ages from 4-64 and up!
Whale Watching And Harbor Cruises – San Diego’s Rich waters support a huge amount of marine life and two large migratory routes for whales pass just off-shore San Diego allowing great opportunities to go Whale Watching. However, even if you miss Whale season You can still cruise the bay with stunning views of the coastline and San Diego’s Marine Wildlife.
USS Midway Museum – The incredible USS Midway, a Retired US Navy Aircraft Carrier is docked up at San Diego’s Waterfront District. An imperious sight, but it is also open for tours of its interior and flight decks, complete with a host of vintage and not-so-vintage Aircraft.
Wine Tasting – While Far less known than Napa Valley, San Diego’s climate allows for some great Grape growing conditions and had some fantastic Wineries. There is nothing better than kicking back and relaxing in San Diego’s wonderful climate enjoying some excellent Artisan wines in the very location they were grown and crafted.
La Jolla – La Jolla (pronounced “La Hoya”) is a truly wonderful little town. Oozing with natural beauty its rugged coastline is brimming with life. Seals, Sealions, and countless sea birds it is a real jewel. Host to a number of upmarket restaurants and boutiques and the location for some of the best water sports in the area. Do Not Miss La Jolla!

San Diego Diving – Diving is not the first thing that springs to mind when you think of San Diego. The Cold Water and Rough Surf put many off but the Sea Life is rich and Diverse and Diving here is excellent…if you can stand the cold.
Kayaking, Paddleboarding, Surfing, Swimming, and Snorkeling – With Calm inland waterways and miles of Pacific coastline Water Sports are number 1 in San Diego and there is a HUGE Variety.
Speedboat Tours – Jump in your own Speed boat and head out into the Bay on a guided tour. No Licence or experience is necessary
