Room Price Guide

Below is our basic Price Guide. For this, we have searched for average prices for weekend and weekday bookings. These are typical and it may be possible to find cheaper, but absolutely possible to find more expensive on busy period. Holidays and special events can be a law unto themselves with rooms tripling or even more on certain days…and that is before we even think about the Grand Prix!

This Price Guide is in fact best used as a guide to how the rooms compare to each other price-wise as even on bargain basement periods the comparison to each other should stand up, and the same on the busier days too. So take these prices with a huge pinch of salt and remember to check LIVE-PRICES to make sure the Aria is in Budget.

* Prices are typical prices and we include taxes and resort fees. As these are typical, you will find higher prices and lower prices at various times of the year and certain room types will skyrocket as they sell out so you may find lower room types costing more than better rooms!

Putting a price on the Skysuites is particularly hard as these soar up and down with incredible variance in price. You could be paying $5000+ a night for some of these suites, Really these are kind of a case of if you have to ask…

Overall we find the Aria Pricing to be VERY competitive to other comparative hotels. The Aria offers a Rating in line with the Cosmopolitan, Bellagio, Wynn, and Venitian, however, prices are usually a fair bit cheaper than those Hotels. With the Aria, you really do get that Vegas Glamour accommodation without the wallet-busting prices.

Best Rooms at the Aria

There are over 20 different room types at the Aria and choosing the right one is hugely complex. Given that many choices, it’s nearly impossible to know what you are looking at. Fortunately, it can be broken down quite a bit, and really there are 4 main types.

The Basic rooms, called the Deluxe are still really high end and things just get better as the levels go up until you get to the 5 Diamond-rated Skysuites that really are the epitome of luxury. Let us take a look at the individual room types and see which will suit your stay the best.

Deluxe Rooms

  • Mountain Or Strip View
  • King Or Two Queen
  • 520 sqft
  • Price $150 – $480+
Aria Deluxe Room Strip View

Starting off with the Base rooms. There are four kinds of rooms in this section. The Deluxe Mountain View Room, in both King and Two Queen Format, and the Deluxe Strip View Rooms, again in King or Two Queen.

Apart from the View and the bed layout, these are exactly the same rooms. The Word Deluxe is a bit of a misnomer, as these are the basic rooms. They are however pretty plush and would easily be deluxe in most hotels. These are the bread and butter rooms at the Aria and the ones most people go for.

The rooms themselves are really nice, one of our favorite base rooms of any hotel. The layout is pretty basic. There is an entrance hall, with lots of storage space and a nice little organizing desk. Here you will find the complementary fluffy dressing gowns. Off the other side of this hallway is the bathroom.

The Bathrooms are mostly Marble, with dual vanity sinks, a large walk-in shower, and Soaking tub combo, separate W.C., and some excellent complimentary toiletries.

The hallway leads to the large Bedroom and living area. This is a Hotel room, not a suite, so the bedroom and living space are combined. Which is not ideal for those who may wake at different times, but it’s pretty standard. The space is fairly large for a standard room (520 sqft vs 390s sqft: Paris – 430 sqft: Planet Hollywood – 510 sqft: Bellagio) with a nice desk and seating area under the 42-inch TV. Next to this is the Mini-Bar. We don’t need to tell you to leave this well alone as prices are extortionate. You can use this as your own bar area, but we prefer to use the organizing desk in the entrance hallway. You get an Ice Bucket but no fridge and no way to make a morning drink, although that is pretty standard in Las Vegas.

The Windows are floor-to-ceiling and some rooms have little corner windows to enhance the views further. There is seating by the windows which is great to grab a drink and just chill out while gazing out the window.

The rooms are really technically advanced which is a double-edged sword. The lights, AC, and Curtains are all digitally controlled, which is cool, but they are not quite as advanced as they need to be and we had multiple incidences of them going a bit haywire! This is an early installation of moonlighting and Smart control and sometimes the lights just don’t do what you want.

When working it’s really cool, opening the curtains at the touch of a button, control the heat via the touch panel and even ordering room service. There is also a connection panel that allows you to connect laptops, Phones, etc., and play your music through the room’s speakers. It’s all pretty advanced. But sometimes you just want the lights to come on, and the room was not always obliging.

Overall there are small niggles to the Rooms, but the good out weight the bad. The fixtures and fittings were all really high quality and these modern plush rooms are a really nice place to be.

Layout

Bed-wise, this is totally a personal preference. We always go for King as we love the giant comfy Kingsize beds, The White 3-layer cotton linen and the deep sumptuous mattress just feel incredible after a hard day sightseeing, and you simply melt into the bed. But the two queens are similar spec and if you are not comfortable sharing a bed with however you are sharing with these are just a plush.

Strip or Mountain View?

Most people want the Strip View, and it’s going to be hard to talk you out of it, but this is maybe the only hotel on the strip where we say go for a mountain view! The Strip views just are not very good. The brutal fact is, if you really want that iconic strip view…you are not going to get it at the Aria. The design and layout of the Hotel and the City Center Complex means the views are pretty poor.

Depending on your angle there always seems to be something in the way of the strip and the main thing most rooms are looking at are the Veer Towers. They are just right slap-bang in the middle of everything. The curve of the Aria Building, along with the Park MGM, Waldorf Astoria, and Cosmopolitan, just block out 80% of the strip, which every way you look.

It’s still a mighty impressive view, it’s just not the iconic Vegas Strip View people think they will get. In contrast, get a Mountain view room and the views are pretty much unobstructed and stunning. It’s not a Las Vegas Strip View, but it’s a really nice view out over the Spring mountains. Sunrise and sunset views are really special and we prefer this unobstructed view out over the Las Vegas Valley to the obstructed Strip views.

If a perfect Strip view is important to you…The Aria may not be the best Las Vegas Hotel! For us the fact the basic Rooms are so good, we are more than happy just booking the base room. The Deluxe Rooms offer a fantastic experience and are really keenly priced. Just choose your Bed Layout and pick between the Mountian or Strip View and go for it. It’s a great choice and one of the few hotels where Picking the Base Room is a Viable option.

Tip – The most important factor in these rooms is a High Floor. When checking in talk to the Check-In clerk and ensure they get you as high as possible, Use the $20 trick if necessary but it’s pretty important to be really high up for the best views.

Stay Well Rooms

  • Mountain Or Strip View
  • King Or Two Queen
  • 520 sqft
  • Price $180 – $500
aria hotel Stay Well king mountain view

Next up are the Stay Well Rooms. These are basically the exact same rooms as the Deluxe but with a few added luxuries. Such as Mood Lighting, Air Purification, Upgraded mattresses, Water Purifiers, vitamin C Shower, Upgraded toiletries, and Soothing Sounds.

The layout is basically the same, Mountian or Strip, King or two Queen, and has the same layouts and amenities as the Deluxe Rooms. There are just the Stay-Well additions.

This starts the second you get off the Elevator. The Air purification includes Aromatherapy and the Stay Well landing always smells delicious! This helps wash away the “stink” of the Casino floor and is really welcome. You kind of forget about this and every time the elevator opens, whoosh, clean fresh, fragrant air!

In the rooms, the Mood lighting is not much better than the Standard, but you do get various moods such as energizing, relaxing, and even a Dawn Simulator. It’s not essential but nice. The Tap water is all purified so drinkable straight from the tap. The Vitamin C Shower infuser is a bit of a gimmick, but it does come with an epic showerhead that blasts water at you.

The fresh purified air continues into the room and overall the rooms are just a really present place to be. The Upgraded Memoryfoan Mattresses are Fantastic, but it’s not like the Deluxe Beds are bad, both offer incredible sleep.

The only downside, apart from any additional cost, is the Rooms locations. These are all on the 23rd and 24th floor. There are no High-Floor Stay-Wells unless you choose a suite.

Overall The Stay-Wells are nice and every one of the added features is nice, but none essential. If you get a good price or blag an upgrade these are fantastic rooms, but if you are only in the basic Deluxe rooms, then you are not missing much. Overall we would rather have a very high floor Deluxe, rather than a mid-level Stay-Well!

Tower Suites

  • Mountain Or Strip View
  • King Bed
  • 920-2000 sqft
  • Price $400 – $1000

The next class of room, which again has several types, is the Tower Suites. These are all around twice the size of the regular rooms, with the hospitality suite nearly 4 times, and offer added space and amenities.

The somewhat irregular shape of the Aria Tower means that there were lots of odd-shaped spaces left over once all the regular rooms had been added, These odd shapes, in the bends and corners of the building are where the Tower Suites are situated.

Aria Floor Layout

In the above picture you can see all the standard rooms and then the odd-shaped ones that don’t quite fit in, these are the Tower Suites. They are all on the same floors just the end rooms and corner units.

What this means is you get some really nice spaces that offer far more living space than the regular Rooms. Overall the rooms are similar, but fixtures and fitings are a bit more plush and there is more of everything. You get Two Palscreen TVs, one for the living area and one for the Bedroom. Larger bathrooms and fancier building materials. These are very nice places to stay.

The fact they are usually on the ends of the building means you get several windows and views out over the City from every room. Most come with a choice of King or Two queens but these are upon request and not bookable. The various Tower Suites come in a variety of types.

Corner Suite – 920sqft

Positioned at the edge of the Towers these wonderful suites are nearly double the size of the Regular rooms but feel larger. Large plush bathrooms, amazing panoramic views of the mountains and City, and a huge living area.

Corner Suite Strip View – 920sqft

These are very similar to the Corner Suites but these are the ones with a Strip facing window. These often have bathrooms with stunning Floor-to-ceiling windows so you can bath while gazing out over the City…Don’t worry the glass is mirrored so no one can see it!

These are really stunning suites and one of our favorite rooms in the building.

Center Suite – 1075sqft

These are positioned right in the center of the towers and have some of the better Strip Views, but still partially obstructed. These have quirky layouts and stunning finishes with amazing Bathrooms

Tower Suite – 1000sqft

These are two rooms melded into one and offer the highest finishing standards of the Tower Suites. With a whirlpool bath, a custom-made Sealy® bed, and a huge living area, these are seriously stunning rooms.

Hospitality Suite – 2000sqft

The largest of the Tower suites the Hospitality Suite is really just for business use, half the added space is dedicated to a Conference room which is not the most useful space for regular travellers.

Stay Well Tower Suites

Another slight complication to the room line-up. Each floor has a pretty similar layout, so when the 23rd and 24th floors were upgraded to the Stay-Well format, they also did the Suites on those floors as well. This means all the above suites are also available as Stay-Well Rooms. These are really limited, and often not available. They are nice if you do get them, but not something we would hunt out specifically, If the upgrade price is small, or you are offered it free, definitely go for it.

However, once again, we would take a standard Tower Suite on a high floor over the Stay-Well on floors 23 and 24.

Overall the Tower suites are stunning places to stay. They are however pretty expensive. How much use are you really going to get out of all that living space? This will be subjective and sure, if you got it you might spend a lot more time in it than if you just have the basic room. Drinks in the evening overlooking the City are certainly a lot more enjoyable than in the viewless lobby bar!

We only plump for these when the price is right, or we get very lucky in our quests for upgrades.

Sky Suites

  • Mountain Or Strip View
  • King Or Two Queen / One or Two Bedroom
  • 1000 – 2060 sqft
  • Price $600 – The Moon!
aria hotel sky suites porte cochere

The Final Class of Suites are the Sky Suites…and these are really a Class of their own. Staying in the Sky Suites can almost be classed as a totally different Hotel. You get a different Entrance, separate elevators, a Totally different class of rooms, and even a dedicated concierge. This is 5-star Hotelling in a very real sense. You will however have to pay for it!

The suites are on floors 38, 39, 50-56. If that sounds odd, it’s because there is no flor 40-49 due to the Number 4 being unlucky in Chinese superstition. These are the top floors with only the ludicrously priced Sky Villas above.

One Bedroom – 1050 sqft

The basics are the one bedroom. These come as either a King or Two Queens and come with a mountain or strip view.

Two Bedroom – 1630 sqft

These are the same as the one Bedroom but with an extra Bedroom.

Penthouse One Bedroom – 1395 sqft -1465 sq. ft

The highest floors and even more space

Penthouse Panoramic – 1465 sq. ft

The largest bedrooms with huge Panoramic Views of the City

Two Bedroom Penthouse – 2060 sqft

Two Bedrooms, mountains of space, and a sky-high price tag

The Sky Suites are all the epitome of luxury and opulence. Ultra High-end furnishings and tech, fantastic Bathrooms with Air Whirlpool Baths and Steam Showers with Panoramic Views, Work Spaces, seating areas, incredible beds, duel granite sinks…just about everything you could desire and super high floors with the best views in the house. However, despite the rooms being truly stunning this is not the main reason for booking…

Sky Suites Experience

The Whole Sky Suites experience is top-notch from the second you hit the Private Skysuites Check-In to finally Checking out. You get a private Sky Suites Lounge with complimentary Wine daily, a Personalised Concierge who will act as your own personal Butler to ensure every whim is catered for (you will still foot the bill obviously), hooking you up with hard-to-get reservations, Club entry, and show seats.

You also get access to the Sky Pool, a private pool area at the main pool only for Sky Suite customers. This area is always quiet and has very little footfall compared to most Las Vegas Pools and is a little piece of private calm.

Overall it’s just a totally different experience staying in the Sky Suites to the Tower Suites, There is not much in it as far as the rooms go, but the Sky Suite experience is on another level. Of course, this level of service costs and Prices for the Sky Suites are often double what you would pay for a Tower Suite. Ask yourself is that really worth it when the basic Aria Expereince is SO good anyway?

Summing Up Best Room to Choose at the Aria?

Budget will usually make you decide between a Suite or a Room as the price is quite different. If the price is right and one of the suites is within budget then you really are in for a fantastic Stay. The Tower Suites are some of the nicest rooms on the Strip and despite the slightly disappointing views, spending time sipping pre-dinner drinks as the sun goes down in your living area is a serious highlight to a Vegas Trip.

Likewise retiring to the room after a night on the Casino Floor, or waking up to the sun pouring through the floor-to-ceiling windows. The Tower Suites area is an exceptional choice. While the Sky Suites are really one of the best accommodations in the City, they are priced as such. If you can run to them then you are in for a real treat, but they are out of the range of most folks.

Fortunately, the Base Rooms are really one of the best in the City. And for us, the top pick is the cheapest Deluxe Room in Mountain View. We think this is the only Hotel where we suggest the base option to be the best all round. But those mountain views are stunning and the rooms are incredibly well-appointed. Ask for a high floor and pro-offer a tip as an incentive if need be.

The harsh reality is the Strip Views here are very poor. And if that is what you have dreamed of, no matter what room you choose you will be let down. If stunning Strip Views, or even a fountain view room, is top of your list of must-haves, then the Aria is the Wrong Hotel. But if you just want great views, Melt-into beds, Plush Bathrooms, fluffy Dressing Gowns, and a fantastically appointed room the Aria’s entire line-up will hit the spot perfectly.
