Best Loungefly Bags to take to Walt Disney World – a Park by Park Guide

Planning your next trip to WDW is exciting and takes a lot of time. There’s so much to organize: flights, hotels, tickets, clothes and er, Loungefly’s obviously! If you are anything like me, you will have many (many) Loungeflys in your collection that are just begging to be taken to their homeland. But with so many Loungefly bags available, which are the best to take to the parks?

Here I break it down for you to help you decide which are the best Loungefly bags to take to Walt Disney World. (Disclaimer: you will absolutely need more than one Loungefly per Park!!) Whichever Loungefly bag you choose, they are guaranteed insta-worthy shots! All bags are available at the websites mentioned at the time of writing.

Best Loungefly Bags to take to Walt Disney World

Magic Kingdom

In my opinion, Magic Kingdom is the best WDW Park for classic, original Walt magic. Here are the top 4 attractions at Magic Kingdom and the Loungefly bags you simply have to take on your trip to Magic Kingdom.

Seven Dwarfs Mine Train

This Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Loungefly backpack is perfect for celebrating one of the Top rides at Magic Kingdom. The Mine Train is a classic ride loved by all, so popular that its wait times often exceed 60-minute waits! At least you could have this beauty of a bag to stare at lovingly to pass the time.

Peter Pan’s Flight

Another Walt classic that’s a firm favorite of Disney Fans. Despite this ride’s shockingly short time frame, fans continue to queue around the park to get on this popular ride. Faith, Trust, and Pixie Dust won’t get you on the ride any faster but this Glow in the Dark Peter Pan Loungefly is perfect for paying homage to one of Walt’s original releases. Queue at night to see this gorgeous bag light up as bright as pixie dust (and maybe get a shorter wait time too!)

Pirates of the Caribbean

‘Yo Ho, Yo, Ho a Pirates life for me’ The Pirates franchise is some of my favorite Disney movies of all time. Fun Fact: the movies are based on the ride itself, being built many years before Disney made the first movie in 2003. Sail through the Purate world and if you are lucky, get a glimpse of Jack Sparrow himself! This Pirates of the Caribbean Loungefly is a nice subtle nod to the ride and movies with discreet patterning on the ears.

Cinderella’s Castle

Let’s be honest, there’s no better feeling than walking down Main Street at Magic Kingdom towards the main attraction: Cinderella’s Castle. That view is what we have been dreaming of and as Cinderella says: A dream is a wish your heart makes. Whether it’s a wish I am dreaming of whilst asleep or awake, standing in front of that castle is the dream we wish for while our vacation countdown (very slowly) gets closer and closer to zero.

The possibilities for Loungefly bags at Cinderella castle are endless as there are so many Cinders bags out there. For me, Cinderella’s most endearing characters were her friends, the mice. Especially Gus Gus. I couldn’t imagine not taking Gus Gus to see Cinderella at the castle with me. This bag is just too cute not to take to Magic Kingdom

EPCOT

With EPCOT’s World Showcase the opportunities to show off different Loungefly bags are endless. However, I’ve picked out just 2 of EPCOT’s most popular attractions and the best Loungefly bags to show off while there.

Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind

This new ride only opened at the end of May 2022 and is currently the most sought-after Lighting Lane and Virtual Queue pass at WDW right now. Those who have so far been lucky to ride it say it lives up to the hype. This new Starlord Loungefly won’t guarantee you a spot in the Virtual Queue or a LL pass but might just be good enough to console you if you don’t get on the ride (just.)

Frozen Ever After

No trip to Arandele would be complete without a Frozen-themed Loungefly backpack. Immerse yourself into Elsa and Olaf’s world, even if the temperatures are a little higher than supposed to be! This Ice castle backpack features all the best elements of the film including Olaf, The Ice Castle, and, “I don’t know if this will help, but there is a Staircase that leads exactly where you need to go”.

Hollywood Studios

Hollywood Studios has arguably had the most updates to its park of late. The last few years have seen 2 major new themed areas opening. Add in the number of people whose trips have been delayed over the last 2 years, and it is one of the most popular WDW Parks right now, with Reservations running out regularly and fast. I may not be able to help you secure reservations but I can at least help you pick the best Loungefly to take to the park.

Toy Story Land

Toy Story Land opened in June 2018 and is a fully immersive experience where you can make friends with Woody, Buzz, and co yourself. Slinky Dog ride is a popular ride for kids of all ages. There are quite a few Toy Story Loungefly bags around but this Mr. Potato Head one is definitely the most fun! He comes with detachable features so you can play with his expressions just like the real Mr. Potato Head!

Galaxy’s Edge

Galaxy’s Edge was 2020’s most eagerly awaited Opening for Disney Parks. A slight delay due to a Worldwide Pandemic has not deterred Star Wars fans from visiting in their droves and experiencing the remote outpost and living out their Star Wars fantasies. Loungefly has more than stepped up and created many a Star Wars-themed Loungefly for you to take on the Millenium Falcon with you. This C3PO collectors edition is my favorite though.

Animal Kingdom

After the success of The Lion King, how could Disney NOT build Animal Kingdom?! Thanks to their in-park Safari and larger-than-life Tree of Life, it’s easy to believe you are in the African plains with Simba and Nala themselves. Animal Kingdom is many a Disney Fans favorite Park and thanks to Disney obtaining the license to James Cameron’s AVATAR, Flight of Passage is THE lighting lane must have!

The Tree of Life

Any photo op in front of The Tree of Life needs a Lion King-themed Loungefly. There are many Insta-worthy Lion King Loungeflys available for this photo op but this Rafiki and Simba backpack is BEGGING to be taken to Animal Kingdom. This bag is perfect to take on safari and to meet Rafiki himself at Rafiki’s Animal Watch.

This bag is currently available for pre-order at Doubleboxedtoys.com

Pandora: the world of AVATAR

Pandora, the world of AVATAR has to be experienced to believe. Flight of Passage and Na’vi River Journey are easily 2 of the best rides at WDW. The sequel to Avatar is due at the end of 2022 and Loungefly has just released a new Avatar backpack. Unfortunately, it is only available in the parks right now. But you can pick one up while you are there!
